Ingredients
- 400 g roasted chicken breast
- 150 g celery stalks
- 45 g mayonnaise
- 30 g sour cream
- 5 g mild mustard
- 10 g fresh chives
- 5 ml lemon juice
- 1 g sea salt
- 1 g ground black pepper
Preparation
- 1Cut the roasted chicken breast (skinless and boneless) into very fine cubes or shred into fine fibers with two forks. For an extra creamy consistency, the meat can also be briefly mixed in a food processor.
- 2Wash the celery stalks thoroughly, peel off any tough fibers, and cut into tiny pieces. Finely chop the fresh chives.
- 3In a bowl, stir mayonnaise, sour cream, mild mustard, and lemon juice until smooth. Season the dressing with a pinch of sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
- 4Mix the prepared chicken meat, celery cubes, and most of the chives into the dressing. Stir everything well so that the flavors combine optimally. If the spread is too firm, simply add another dollop of sour cream.
- 5Let the finished spread chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Serve on fresh bread or rolls, garnished with the remaining chives.
