Rice paper is traditionally used in Asian cuisine for spring rolls to hold the ingredients together in the roll. Made from rice flour, the discs are a tasteless option as a "wrapper" for spring rolls, as well as other dumplings and similar dishes.
For summer rolls, the ingredients should all be cut into small sticks. You can use rice noodles, rice, vegetables, tofu and sauces for filling. The rice paper is moistened and the ingredients rolled up in it.
