Preparation in the microwave:
- Place the frozen yeast dumpling in a microwave-safe bowl and wet with a tbsp. of water.
- Then cover and heat in the microwave at 600 watts for 2:00 to 2:20 minutes.
- Place the cooked yeast dumplings on a plate, sprinkle with the sugar and poppy seed mixture and pour over melted butter.

Preparation in a steamer or pot with steam insert (100C°)
.- Place a greased steam insert in a saucepan and fill it with hot water up to the insert height.
- Bring the water to the boil, place the undefrosted yeast dumplings on the insert and steam, covered, for about 15-17 minutes. The lid must not be removed during this time.
- Pierce the cooked yeast dumplings while they are still in the pot, place them on a plate, sprinkle with the sugar and poppy seed mixture and pour melted butter over them.
- Bring about 2 litres of lightly salted water to the boil in a larger saucepan and place the yeast dumplings, unfrosted, flat side down.
- Cover with the lid and simmer over a low heat, not boiling, for approx. 16-18 minutes.
- Place the cooked yeast dumplings on a plate, prick them, sprinkle with the sugar and poppy seed mixture and pour melted butter over them.
