A traditional Belgian Abbey Dubbel with a dark brown colour. On the nose it convinces with notes of chocolate, sugar and dried fruits. The palate is balanced sweet and fruity

The Abbey of Notre Dame de Leffe was founded by monks near Dinant in 1152. The abbey was closed during the French Revolution and only reopened in 1929. In 1952, two abbots revived the brewery and continued brewing according to the old tradition using the recipe from 1240. In 1990, the brewery was finally sold to the Interbrew Group.
