The oyster mushroom or oyster mushroom has a full, strong aroma, reminiscent of veal.
Don't worry if there are fine white threads on the oyster mushrooms. This is not mold!
The seeds of the mushroom (spores) germinate and form a new mycelium, which is a natural property of mushrooms. You can simply cook these threads (mycelium) with them, which will break them down. Alternatively, the threads can also be wiped off with a dry cloth.
The preparation options for this mushroom are very versatile. You can fry it, grill it, gratinate it, deep-fry it, braise it or simply enjoy it raw in a salad. Smaller mushrooms are best used whole. Quarter or halve larger mushrooms!
Storage recommendation
Mushrooms should be stored in a cool, airy place. An air-permeable container in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator is best for this.

Their mushrooms grow in a resource-saving way in a small space in the beautiful Vienna Lobau and in wine cellars in Klosterneuburg. They need very little energy - and most of the energy they need can be produced with their own PV system.
Mushrooms that are not sold as fresh produce as quickly as possible are processed by Hut & Stiel into vegan organic products such as pesto, sugo, goulash, spread and sausages.
Their vision is to turn mushrooms from a side dish into a main course and to increase the popularity of mushrooms as a healthy and sustainable alternative to meat.
