- 200 g sugar snap peas
- 250 g rice
- 50 g cornstarch
- 1 pack omami-Tasty Nature Tofu, cut into cubes
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 120 ml orange juice without pulp
- Zest of one small orange
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 4 tbsp sunflower oil
Preparation:
- Remove 2 tbsp from the 50g cornstarch and mix in a small bowl with a little water to form a viscous mass.
- Cook the rice according to the package instructions.
- Fill a large saucepan halfway with water, bring to a boil and place a sieve on top. Place the broccoli florets in the sieve and steam until tender with the lid closed.
- Heat a pan with approx. 2 tbsp sunflower or rapeseed oil, add half of the chopped garlic, as well as the sugar snap peas. Sauté for approx. 2 minutes. Add the zucchini strips and fry everything for approx. 3 minutes. Finally, toss the broccoli with the remaining vegetables. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pat the tofu dry, cut into cubes, place in a bowl and cover with the remaining cornstarch. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a pan with 2 tbsp sunflower or rapeseed oil until very hot and fry the tofu until golden brown on all sides. Place in a bowl and set aside.
- Heat a small saucepan with sesame oil, add chilli flakes and the remaining garlic and fry for approx. 1 minute. Deglaze with orange juice, add soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar and orange zest. Mix everything together.
- Add the thickened cornstarch and bring to a boil so that the sauce thickens slightly.
