Clearspring BIO Japanese Tofu
Clearspring Silken Tofu in organic quality consists of only three ingredients: whole soybeans, spring water from Mount Fuji and Nigari (a naturally occurring, mineral-rich coagulant from seawater). It is denser and richer than other soft tofus, has a silky smooth, velvety texture and still retains its firmness. It is very easy to use and tastes as good as fresh tofu. Ready to eat straight from the pack or as an alternative to meat, dairy or eggs. Tofu can be fried, baked or grilled, but also tastes great diced as an insert for Asian soups.
About Clearspring
When New Zealander Christopher Dawson travelled to Japan as a young law student and lived there, he was particularly interested in local agriculture. He later founded CLEARSPRING with a variety of organic Japanese delicatessen products.
The aim of Christopher Dawson and Clearspring is to improve the ecological footprint through sustainable manufacturing and production processes.
The diverse products have been awarded over 18 Food Awards.
