Laura Santtini Taste #5 Umami Seasoned Tomato Paste
At first glance, you might mistake this product for a trendy bouillon cube. Once you've used this all-natural flavoring paste, the irony quickly fades. Umami, the fifth taste alongside sour, sweet, bitter, and salty, was defined in Japan; a savory taste most easily found in meat broth. The paste was developed by Laura Santtini, a Londoner of Italian descent. She recommends seasoning dishes with it just before serving.
