Meat enjoyment with responsibility At Lugitsch, we have been working together with experts in the field of animal husbandry for years on various forms of husbandry. Sun terrace and run

The Steirerhuhn Gourmet stands for responsible animal husbandry at the highest level. With plenty of time to grow, more space than usual, sun terrace and meadow run, the chicken grows up on farms, which have specialized in raising poultry for many years. In the barn and in the area of the sun terrace, the Steirerhuhn Gourmet has natural occupational materials such as hay or straw bales available and in bad weather it also likes to use the run on the meadow.

The GMO-free feed for the Steirerhuhn Gourmet is specially tailored to its needs by our feeding experts. It bears the seal ,,Fed with european Protein" and, with its balanced nutrient profile, creates the basis for its healthy growth. For the feed mixtures, only European protein sources and soy from deforestation-free cultivation are used.

As the only Austrian company, Lugitsch's feed mill and poultry farm work together in a closed cycle and cooperate with selected, regional contract farmers. In this way, we strengthen the added value in the region. This holistic approach guarantees complete traceability, transparent production and consistent quality – from the Haltung on the farm to the feeding to the finest food. Our philosophy is based on open and honest communication with our customers and suppliers. Regionality, sustainable farming and handshake quality are among our strengths.
