Reloxan® Chewable Tablets with fruit flavor are a medical device for the fast and sustained relief of heartburn and acid-related stomach discomfort. For adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.
 Recurring acid-related stomach discomfort, such as heartburn, acid reflux or persistent pressure in the stomach, are unpleasant and can be exacerbated by stressful situations or certain foods and medications. This is where Reloxan® Chewable Tablets help. The unique combination of mineral acid buffers (calcium and magnesium carbonate) and highly concentrated plant-based protective substances from the prickly pear cactus counteracts acid-related discomfort in two ways.  

• Excess stomach acid is quickly neutralized. This leads to rapid relief of acute symptoms such as heartburn and acid reflux. At the same time, a soothing protective film forms on the irritated esophageal and gastric mucosa.
• The active ingredients magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate and prickly pear cactus extract are released as soon as they are chewed. This means that they are directly available in the stomach and can develop their effect immediately. The discomfort quickly subsides.

 What is heartburn and how is it treated? Heartburn is usually perceived as a burning sensation in the stomach that can radiate into the chest. The cause is an excess of stomach acid and a backflow of stomach contents into the esophagus. This can also cause inflammation and pain in the esophagus, for example. • Reloxan® can be taken several times a day: Due to the good tolerability of the ingredients, you can take Reloxan® Chewable Tablets daily, up to four chewable tablets per day. You can also use Reloxan® over a longer period of up to 30 days*, but not for longer than 14 days without interruption.

Application

Reloxan® is recommended for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. Those affected take one chewable tablet as a single dose, preferably one hour after meals. Those affected can also take Reloxan® before going to bed or between meals to relieve heartburn.
