The world is a sphere. Or a cube. Sometimes even a small cylinder. In any case, a delicious composition of fine ingredients, the best recipes in the world – and craftsmanship in the highest perfection. Only then does a praline fit into the Bitter Süss universe.
Many years ago, Gesa Weitzenböck first set out in search of the perfect praline and the most unique truffles. After numerous attempts, perfection courses and contacts with the world's greatest chocolatiers, she found what she was looking for in 2008. The result: The first collections of Bitter Süss made by Gesa Weitzenböck. A new cult – with one major flaw: The little delicacies were always sold out within a few days in the years that followed.
After more and more customer orders, national and international awards and her Chocolatier and Sommelier de Chocolaates training in Buenos Aires in 2014, everything changed: Now the Bitter-Süss collection, comprising more than 40 creations, is available all year round. Her delicacies can be purchased in her studio and shop at Hirschengasse 1, in Vienna's 6th district. As always, made from organic and fair-trade ingredients, the world's best Grand Cru chocolates, inspired by grandmasters from all over the world. Each praline is a handmade one-off from the first Viennese chocolate manufactory.
