Morbidi Finocchiona IGP
This is a typical Tuscan salami of the highest quality, characterized by its finesse. Among other things, it is seasoned with wild fennel, which gives the salami a special flavor.
It tastes best:
- as an appetizer: best enjoyed with a good glass of wine, together with honey, fruit and cold cuts, or well combined with artichokes in oil as a crostino and ricotta flakes.
- as a sandwich: perfect for filling a hearty Tuscan sandwich.
About the company:
It all started in 1925 with a small dairy in the old town of Siena. From then on, the name Morbidi became synonymous with "good food" for the locals. In the 1940s, we began to work with pork and then with sheep's milk, in keeping with the oldest local traditions. Over the generations, we have developed into a modern company with a strong focus on sustainability and a short supply chain, but we have never forgotten where we started: in a wonderful place that is still ready to welcome anyone who comes through the heart of Siena.
