Dacello Mortadella Bologna IGP

The Dacello Mortadella PGI is made according to an exclusive, simple and natural recipe, respecting the Emilian tradition. The ingredients, the recipe and the processing methods comply with the specifications of the Consortium of the Mortadella Bologna PGI. It is free from added polyphosphates, caseinates and milk powder and contains no gluten. The meat content is 97.5%. It is made in Italy.

The cuts of meat come mainly from the pork shoulder and are carefully selected, minced and mixed with bacon, spices and natural flavouring. The mixture is then stuffed into artificial casings and cooked for several hours in special ovens, which intensifies the aroma and tenderness of the meat.

The Mortadella PGI Dacello is an excellent product that can be eaten on its own or used as an ingredient in numerous recipes. The delicate and fragrant Mortadella Bologna PGI is perfect for adding an extra, juicy flavour to any dish. It can be used as a filling for sandwiches and piadinas or served on succulent cutting boards together with other cold cuts and cheeses. Mortadella can also be a tasty ingredient for pasta and pizza or used chopped for meatballs and fillings for other meat or vegetable dishes.
