St. Severin Chest and Cough Tea is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for dietary management of coughs and viscous mucus, as well as catarrh of the upper respiratory tract. The tea can also be used for acute and chronic inflammation of the bronchi. It also has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, germicidal and cough-relieving effects in the bronchial area. The tea can also provide relief for dry coughs and inflammatory irritation in the throat.
Application
Pour 1 tbsp (4 g) of the mixture with 250 ml of boiling water 2 - 3 times a day, cover and let steep for 10 minutes, strain and drink.
Note
Use only under medical supervision. Store dry at room temperature out of the reach of small children. Dietetic foods are not complete foods and are therefore not suitable as the sole source of nutrition. The recommended daily intake should not be exceeded.
Ingredients
Sweet chestnut leaf (25%), ribwort leaf (20%), great mullein leaf (17.5%), thyme (17.5%), elecampane root (20%).
