Muschelkalk 13.5% Vol.
An invigorating and fruity white wine with pronounced yellow fruit notes and fine spice, which can be enjoyed excellently young, but also has a storage potential of at least 10 more years.
A wine that runs into the glass in a medium straw yellow and smells captivating of peaches, mirabelles, orange peel and honey.
On the palate it presents itself very juicy and fruity with a refreshing acidity, which is very well embedded in the fruitiness.
In the finish, an invigorating spice becomes clear. The whole thing is underlined by a hint of pepper and a fine, mineral note that is slightly reminiscent of chalk.
Serving and food recommendation:
Such a strong white wine can be enjoyed a little warmer at 9-10°C from a classic white wine glass.
It goes very well with dishes such as duck glazed with honey on lamb's lettuce, lemongrass curry soup with smoked prawns, brook trout fried in almond butter with spinach, or Comté with mirabelle jam.

There is a language that every tongue speaks – that of wine. Because the honesty of nature needs no translator, we leave the talking to our grapes. Since the 17th century, we have been telling the family history in this way, vintage by vintage, with old varieties and new ideas. A small family winery on the edge of the Leithagebirge and at the foot of Lake Neusiedl, which cultivates the vineyards organically, gently and carefully. A special feature of the wines is on the one hand the extraordinary soils such as limestone and slate and on the other hand the decades of experience of the winemaker, who constantly tells new stories through continuous development.
