Organic salmon trout fillet (Salvelinus fontinalis) has a pleasantly firm texture with a strong flavour.
Due to the organic farming and organic feeding, there may be variations in the colour of the ""meat"".
Organic salmon trout also contains significantly more fat than a brown trout. The fish provides you with minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins. For people who prefer a balanced and conscious diet, fish fits well into their diet.
The cleaner the water and the lower the water temperature, the tastier the fish. In Decleva's ponds, the water flows from the springs directly from the Hochschwab massif and offers ideal living conditions for the fish. The fish grow slowly. They need 2.5 to 3 years to reach a size of 1 kg.
Preparation:
The various preparation methods are possible: grilled, steamed or fried.
A pinch of salt and a little high-quality olive oil are enough to bring a quickly prepared, tasty fish dish to the table in a pan. With a little oil in the pan, the fillets are first fried on the skin side until they are crispy. Then the fillets are turned and only cooked briefly on the other side.
