A wonderful rosé cuvée from the 2021 vintage. Bright salmon rosé, intense aroma of ripe peach, raspberries and herbs, juicy, creamy and refreshing on the palate.

Perfect as an aperitif, with Caesar salad or seafood.

The winery:

The Strehn winery stands for pure, straightforward and individual wines. And for some years now, a new wind has been blowing - a rosé-coloured one. And it is blowing ever stronger. 60 percent of the harvest was already processed into rosé in 2021. It all started with an attempt to create a counter-design to rosé wines with mediocre popularity ratings. The model for this was French rosé icons, which had long since climbed to wine heaven. In 2017, the time had come: "The elephant in the china shop" turned the Austrian rosé world upside down as a shooting star. The rosé range now comprises six wines: from sparkling wine to statement rosé, which is fermented in barrels.

The basis for this, however, is always the organically and sustainably cultivated red wines from Deutschkreutz. And of course, Blaufränkisch takes centre stage here.
