Pinzgau Milch Almsenner Organic Mountain Cheese Matured for 6 Months
Our organic mountain cheese with 50% fat in dry matter is a semi-hard cheese matured with red bacteria and suitable for every cheese lover. It is tangy, aromatic and has an elastic, closed cheese dough with occasional pea-sized holes. Its flavour combines all the positive characteristics that a great mountain cheese of this maturity level should have.
It is particularly recommended with full-bodied white wines and strong red wines or simply as a guarantee for a successful cheese tasting or snack.

Proximity to nature, sustainability and many years of experience are the cornerstones for Pinzgau Milch cheese specialities. When we talk about cheese, we talk about quality, variety and an honest, natural and excellent taste.
The basis for our high-quality products lies in our region. Around 1,000 farmers from Pinzgau, Pongau and the neighbouring Tyrolean Kaiserwinkl entrust us with their carefully produced mountain farm milk for further processing. The small-scale farms are mostly family businesses with an average of 12 cows, far removed from any mass production. It is the proximity to nature and the species-appropriate animal husbandry that enable the production of high-quality cheese.
