White radish

The radish, which is popular in many places, is one of the oldest cultivated plants ever and found its way to Europe via Western Asia. In this country, it has been known as a vegetable and medicinal plant since the 13th century.

The radish has a firm white skin and a typically spicy-tangy taste. Sliced paper-thin or grated with salt and pepper, it is a must for the next snack.

Storage recommendation

They are best stored in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator, wrapped in cling film to keep the vegetables moist and preserve their freshness for up to three weeks.
