What should you consider before taking it?

WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING Traumeel?

Traumeel must not be taken,
- if you are allergic to Arnica montana, Calendula officinalis, Hamamelis virginiana, Achillea millefolium, Atropa belladonna, Aconitum napellus, Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni, Hepar sulfuris, Chamomilla recutita, Symphytum officinale, Bellis perennis, Echinacea angustifolia, Echinacea purpurea, Hypericum perforatum or any of the other ingredients of this drug listed in section 6.

Traumeel should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to Arnica (Arnica), Calendula (Marigold), Achillea (Yarrow), Chamomilla (Chamomile) or other daisy family plants.
For fundamental reasons, Echinacea should not be used in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukaemia or leukaemia-like diseases, inflammatory connective tissue diseases (collagenoses), autoimmune diseases, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infections or other chronic viral diseases.

Warnings and precautions

The recommended dose is:

Adults aged 18 and over take: 1 tablet 3 times a day
In the acute phase: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours, maximum 8 times a day

Use in children and adolescents:
Children aged 2 - 6 take: 1 tablet 1-2 times a day
Children aged 6 - 12 take: 1 tablet 2 times a day
Adolescents aged 12 and over take: 1 tablet 3 times a day

In the acute phase take:
Children aged 2 - 6: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours, maximum 6 times a day
Children aged 6 - 12: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours, maximum 8 times a day
Adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 tablet every 1-2 hours, maximum 8 times a day

Take less often when symptoms subside.

Children under 2 years of age
The use of Traumeel in children under 2 years of age is not recommended as there is insufficient data.

Allow the tablets to dissolve slowly in the mouth. Take before meals.

For children under 6 years of age, crush the tablets with a spoon, add a little liquid (approx. 50 ml water or unsweetened tea) and stir until the tablet has dissolved.

The duration of use depends on the clinical picture. If there is no improvement within one week or if the symptoms worsen, you should consult a doctor.

If you have taken more Traumeel than you should.No cases of overdose have been reported to date.

If you forget to take Traumeel.
