What should you consider before taking it?

WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE USING Viburcol?

Viburcol must not be used,
- if you or your child are allergic to Matricaria recutita, Atropa bella-donna, Solanum dulcamara, Plantago major, Pulsatilla pratensis, Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni,
or to other members of the daisy family or any of the other ingredients of this drug listed in section 6.

Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Viburcol.
If a high fever occurs, a doctor must be consulted.

When using homeopathic drugs, existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial reaction). Such reactions are usually harmless. If the symptoms do not improve, the drug should be discontinued. After the initial reaction has subsided, the drug can be used again. If the symptoms worsen again, the drug should be discontinued.

Any prolonged treatment with a homeopathic drug should be monitored by a doctor experienced in homeopathy, as unwanted drug testing symptoms (new symptoms) may occur if the drug is not indicated.

Always use this drug exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:

Adolescents from 12 years of age:
1 suppository 4 times a day
In acute conditions: 1 suppository every 2 hours, up to 8 times a day

Children from 6 to 12 years of age:
1 suppository 4 times a day,
In acute conditions: 1 suppository every 2 hours, up to 8 times a day

Children from 2 to 6 years of age:
1 suppository 3 times a day,
In acute conditions: 1 suppository every 2 hours, up to 6 times a day

Children from 6 months to 2 years of age:
1 suppository 2 times a day,
In acute conditions: 1 suppository every 2 hours, up to a maximum of 4 times a day
Use in children from 6 months to 1 year of age should only be on the recommendation of a doctor.

The frequency of use should be reduced when the symptoms improve.

Children under 6 months:
The use of Viburcol in children under 6 months is not recommended as there is insufficient data.

For rectal application (for insertion into the anus).

If you or your child do not feel better or even worse after 5 days, consult your doctor.

If you have used more Viburcol than you should.
No cases of overdose have been reported to date.

If you forget to use Viburcol.
