Antiallergic Eye Drops "Similasan" are a homeopathic medicinal product. Homeopathy is understood as a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic diseases. Antiallergic Eye Drops "Similasan" are a homeopathic combination drug that is composed of various individual homeopathic remedies, whose drug profiles complement each other.

The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug profiles.
The following areas of application are approved for this drug:
allergic reactions of the mucous membranes and eyelids of the eyes such as:

• itching,
• swelling,
• redness,
• burning eyes.

The use of this homeopathic drug in the named areas of application is based exclusively on homeopathic experience.
In severe forms of these diseases, a clinically proven therapy is indicated.

Antiallergic Eye Drops "Similasan" must not be used,
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Apis mellifica, Euphrasia 3c, Sabadilla or any of the other ingredients of this drug listed in section 6.

Warnings and precautions

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Antiallergic Eye Drops "Similasan".

Wearing contact lenses is not indicated for eye infections. However, if you are dependent on contact lenses, remove them before instilling the drops and do not reinsert the lenses until at least 15 minutes after treatment. It is also recommended to use the drops after removing the lenses, in the evening before going to bed and
in the morning upon waking, at least 15 minutes before inserting the lenses. Note that an inflamed eye is more sensitive to lenses.

So-called initial reactions may occur when using homeopathic drugs. Such reactions generally subside quickly on their own.

For fundamental reasons, a long-term treatment with a homeopathic drug should be monitored by a doctor experienced in homeopathy.

Children
The use of Antiallergic Eye Drops "Similasan" in children under 6 years of age is not recommended, as there is insufficient data available.

How should the drug be taken?

How should Antiallergic Eye Drops "Similasan" be used?

Always use this drug exactly as described in this package leaflet or exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

Children from 6 years of age, adolescents and adults:
One to several times a day, 2 drops per eye.

Type of use:
For use on the eye.

Instructions for use:

• Squeeze the rubber part of the spout with two fingers and drip the drops into the eye.
• Avoid touching the rubber tip with your fingers and direct contact with the eye.
• Close immediately after use!

If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.

Use in children
Since there is insufficient data available, use in children under 6 years of age cannot be recommended.

If you have used more Antiallergic Eye Drops "Similasan" than you should
No cases of overdose have been reported to date.

If you forget to use Antiallergic Eye Drops "Similasan"
Do not use double the amount if you forget to use the previous application.

What side effects are possible?

How should Antiallergic Eye Drops "Similasan" be stored?

Do not store above 25°C.
Do not store near strong electromagnetic fields (TVs, computer screens, microwave ovens).
Keep this drug out of the reach of children.
Do not use the drug after the expiry date stated on the label and the folding box.
Use within 3 months after first opening!
Do not dispose of drugs in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the drug when you are no longer using it. You will help to protect the environment.

- The active ingredients are:
1 g (=22 drops) contains:
Apis mellifica D 6, Euphrasia 3c D6, Schoenocaulon officinale (Sabadilla) D 6 each 303.33 mg.

- The other ingredients are:
Sodium tetraborate, boric acid, silver sulfate, sodium nitrate, highly purified water, ethanol (<0.3% as a component of the active ingredients).
