Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Travogen Cream. If you are using Travogen Cream, it is important to note the following:
  • When using Travogen on the face, make sure that the cream does not come into contact with the eyes.
  • For persistent infections between the toes, it is often advisable to place a strip of gauze soaked in Travogen Cream between the toes.
  • Careful personal hygiene supports the success of the treatment. The affected skin areas, especially between the toes, must be dried thoroughly after washing and socks or stockings should be changed daily. Shoes should be well ventilated after wearing.
  • To prevent re-infection, personal laundry (washcloths, towels, underwear - preferably made of cotton) should be changed daily and boiled.
  • If Travogen is used in the genital area, some ingredients may damage latex products, such as condoms and diaphragms, if used at the same time, and thus impair their effectiveness. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you need more information.
Using Travogen Cream with other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or plan to take/use any other medicines.
No interactions are known. No studies have been conducted to detect interactions.

Pregnancy, breastfeeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
The doctor will decide whether Travogen Cream can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It is not known whether the active ingredients of Travogen Cream pass into breast milk. A risk to the breast-fed child cannot be ruled out.

For application to the skin.
Travogen Cream is applied once a day to the affected skin areas.
For fungal infections, it is generally recommended that local treatment be carried out over a period of 2 – 3 weeks, and for persistent infections (especially if the toes are affected) for 4 weeks. Longer periods of use are also possible if specifically prescribed by a doctor.
To prevent relapses, you should continue treatment for at least 2 weeks after the symptoms have subsided.
Fungal infections are very persistent and long-lasting. To achieve successful treatment, you must use Travogen Cream regularly and follow the recommended hygiene measures (see section 2).

Use in children and adolescents
Data on a limited number of infants, toddlers, children and adolescents do not indicate any negative effects when using Travogen Cream, but a dosage recommendation cannot be given.
