Visiodoron Euphrasia Eye Drops are a homeopathic specialty of the anthroposophic therapeutic approach.
Euphrasia is a meadow flower, which is also known as “eyebright”.
The fields of application are derived from the homeopathic drug images.
According to the anthroposophic understanding of man and nature, these include:
- Inflammation of the mucous membrane of the eye, which is accompanied by increased tear production (catarrhal inflammation)
- Swelling of the eyelid due to fluid retention (eyelid edema), also due to allergic reactions
The use of this homeopathic medicine in the mentioned
fields of application is based exclusively on homeopathic experience.
In severe forms of these diseases, a clinically proven therapy is indicated.

The following fields of application are approved for this medicine:
- Catarrhal inflammation of the eye, which is accompanied by increased tear production
- Eyelid edema, also due to allergic reactions
The use of this homeopathic medicine of the anthroposophic therapeutic approach in the mentioned fields of application is based exclusively on anthroposophic experience.
In severe forms of these diseases, a clinically proven therapy is indicated.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 2-3 days, contact your doctor.
What should you consider before taking it?
What should you consider before using Visiodoron Euphrasia Eye Drops?
Visiodoron Euphrasia Eye Drops must not be used,
if you are allergic to the active ingredient Euphrasia (eyebright) or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.
Warnings and precautions
In case of severe pain in the eyes, purulent secretion or a sudden loss of vision, medical advice is urgently required.
When using homeopathic medicines, the existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial reaction). Such reactions are usually harmless. If the symptoms do not improve, the medicine should be discontinued. After the initial reaction has subsided, the medicine can be used again. If the symptoms worsen again, the medicine should be discontinued.
Any prolonged treatment with a homeopathic medicine should be supervised by a doctor experienced in homeopathy, as unwanted drug testing symptoms (new symptoms) may occur if the medicine is not indicated.

Note for contact lens wearers:
In general, you should not wear contact lenses in case of inflammatory eye diseases in order not to worsen the inflammation.
Visiodoron Euphrasia Eye Drops are compatible with contact lenses.
Some contact lens manufacturers recommend that the lenses should generally be removed before using eye drops and only reinserted after about 30 minutes. This recommendation, which may be related to certain lens materials, should be followed.
Children
Visiodoron Euphrasia Eye Drops should only be used in children under 2 years of age after consulting a doctor, as there is not yet sufficient experience for a general recommendation for this age group.

So far, there is no evidence of possible risks from using Visiodoron Euphrasia Eye Drops during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Driving and using machines
Visiodoron Euphrasia Eye Drops have no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
How should the medicine be taken?
How to use Visiodoron Euphrasia Eye Drops?
Always use Visiodoron Euphrasia Eye Drops exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults, adolescents and children:
Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 3 times a day
Euphrasia D3 Eye Drops should only be used in children under 2 years of age after consulting a doctor, as there is not yet sufficient experience for a general recommendation for this age group.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 2-3 days, contact your doctor.
