WHAT IS Euphorbium compositum-Heel-Nasenspray AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?
Euphorbium compositum-Heel–Nasenspray is a homeopathic combination drug. Such drugs are composed of various individual homeopathic remedies, whose drug profiles complement each other. Homeopathy is understood as a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic illnesses.
Areas of application:
The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug profiles. These include catarrhs of the nose and paranasal sinuses.
The use of this homeopathic drug in the named areas of application is based exclusively on homeopathic experience.
In severe forms of these illnesses, a clinically proven therapy is indicated.

What should you consider before taking it?
WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE USING Euphorbium compositum-Heel ?
Euphorbium compositum-Heel must not be used,
- if you are allergic to Euphorbium, Hydrargyrum biiodatum, Mucosa nasalis suis, Hepar sulfuris, Argentum nitricum, Sinusitis-Nosode, Pulsatilla pratensis, Luffa operculata or any of the other ingredients of this drug listed in section 6, especially against benzalkonium chloride.
Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Euphorbium compositum-Heel.
Do not use without medical advice in case of thyroid diseases.
If a fever of over 39 degrees or a severe feeling of illness occurs, a doctor must be consulted immediately.
When using homeopathic drugs, the existing symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial reaction). Such reactions are mostly harmless. If the symptoms do not improve, the drug should be discontinued. After the initial reaction has subsided, the drug can be used again. If the symptoms worsen again, the drug should be discontinued.
Any longer treatment with a homeopathic drug should be monitored by a doctor experienced in homeopathy, as undesirable drug testing symptoms (new symptoms) can occur if the drug is not indicated.
Children under 2 years of age
The use of Euphorbium compositum-Heel in children under 2 years of age is not recommended, as there is insufficient data available.
Using Euphorbium compositum-Heel together with other drugsInform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking / using, have recently taken / used or intend to take/ use other drugs.
So far, no interactions with other drugs have become known.
Using Euphorbium compositum-Heel together with food and drinks
The effect of a homeopathic drug can be adversely affected by generally harmful factors in the lifestyle and by stimulants and luxury foods.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this drug.
There is no evidence of a particular risk for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Caution should be exercised when using during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Driving and ability to operate machinery
Euphorbium compositum-Heel has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
Euphorbium compositum-Heel contains benzalkonium chloride
Benzalkonium chloride can cause skin irritation. In asthma patients, bronchospasm (spasmodic narrowing of the airways) can occur.
How should the drug be taken?
HOW SHOULD Euphorbium compositum-Heel BE USED?
Always use this drug exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:
1 - 2 sprays in each nostril 3 times a day
In the acute phase: 1 spray in each nostril up to 8 times a day every 1/2 to 1 hour on the first day
Use in children
Children from 6 – 12 years of age:
1 spray in each nostril 3 times a day
In the acute phase: 1 spray in each nostril up to 6 times a day every 1/2 to 1 hour on the first day
Children from 2 - 6 years of age:
1 spray in each nostril 2 times a day
In the acute phase: 1 spray in each nostril up to 4 times a day every 1/2 to 1 hour on the first day
The frequency of use should be reduced when the symptoms improve.
Children under 2 years of age:
The use of Euphorbium compositum-Heel in children under 2 years of age is not recommended, as there is insufficient data available.
For nasal use.
If you do not feel better or even feel worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.
Application:
Before using for the first time, make sure that the safety lock is intact. Do not use the product if the lock is damaged.
1. Remove the cap.
2. Pump several times before using for the first time until an even spray mist is emitted.3. Carefully insert the spray opening into the nostril and pump as indicated.
Inhale deeply through the nose. Clean the spray opening and replace the protective cap after each use.
If you have used a larger amount of Euphorbium compositum-Heel than you should
No cases of overdose have been reported.
If you forget to use Euphorbium compositum-Heel
Do not use double the amount if you have forgotten the previous use.
If you have any further questions about the use of this drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
What side effects are possible?

Store in the original packaging.
Keep this drug out of the reach of children.
Do not use this drug after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and label after "Use by". The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
The shelf life is not limited by opening the container, provided that the container is closed again immediately after proper dosing.
Do not dispose of drugs in wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the drug when you stop using it. You thus help to protect the environment.
Special storage instructions

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.
Store in the original packaging.
Do not use the drug after the expiry date (Use by:) stated on the carton and label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
