Red Muskateller 11.5% Vol.
Crazy: It's called red, but it's white. This wine is a real rarity. Winemaker Werner Hauser was enchanted by this special grape variety when he was a young winegrower:
When it starts to ripen, the skin of the grape turns red, but the flesh remains white.
In the meantime, this special wine enchants everyone who drinks it. With its special fresh, floral aroma, it is not only slightly reminiscent of elderflowers and crisp green fruits, but also implies a slight tingling on the palate.
Versatile and surprising.
A rarity in vegetation: when they start to ripen, the grapes change colour and turn a bright red, hence the name. However, the wine is white.
Fragrant, captivating but still crisp on the palate with a good finish.
Weingut Hauser:
In the 13th generation of the family, the Weingut Hauser is located in the beautiful Poysdorf in Lower Austria. Since its birth year "ANNO 1555", the vineyards of the estate have been spread around the small wine town. The winery stands for a wide range of traditional wines. In addition, it is known for its creative approach when it comes to creating innovations.
The winery is run by Werner Hauser and his family. In addition to the wooden barrels, there is modern technology in the old cellar vaults. Gentle grape processing and slowly controlled fermentation in the venerable cellar and storage in stainless steel tanks leave the wine with its naturalness and bear the winemaker's pure signature until it is bottled.
