The sea bream (Sparus aurata) is one of about 50 different bream species. The grey-blue/silvery shimmering fish have a golden band between their eyes, hence the name gilt-head bream. The natural habitat of this species is the Mediterranean Sea, the Canary Islands and the eastern Atlantic from Great Britain.

Taste and preparation:

The flesh is delicious and tender, it has a well-rounded taste and a natural sweetness.

Filled with lemon slices, garlic and herbs,  fried in a pan or grilled, this fish tastes like a holiday on the Mediterranean Sea.

This product comes from a farm that has been independently certified to the Aquaculture Stewardship Council standard for responsibly farmed seafood.
