Remifemin Moisturizing Cream Vaginal

There are already some hormone-free preparations based on gels (aqueous preparations) to relieve the symptoms of vaginal dryness. However, many women lack the greasing and nourishing component; they would therefore prefer to use a cream. The creams available so far require a prescription and contain oestrogens (female hormones).

For all women with vaginal dryness who do not want to or are not allowed to use local oestrogens, Vagisan FeuchtCreme can help with its double effect: It moisturises AND nourishes the skin in the vagina and external intimate area with lipids (fats). Vagisan Moist Cream makes the sensitive vaginal skin pleasantly supple - without any hormones.
Unlike a watery preparation (gel), Vagisan Moist Cream is a cream. In addition to a high water content, creams always have a nourishing fat content.

The white, smooth cream is free of hormones (oestrogens) and can therefore also be used together with hormone replacement therapy or in alternation with vaginal creams or suppositories containing hormones (oestrogens). Due to the addition of lactic acid, the cream is adjusted to a pH value of 4.5 - thus Vagisan Moist Cream supports the maintenance of a natural acid value (pH) in the vagina.

The regular use of Vagisan Moist Cream can help to prevent irritation and inflammation in the vagina and external intimate area caused by dryness.

Vagisan Moist Cream can be used before intimate intercourse, in principle also with latex condoms. The cream does not affect sperm motility and can therefore also be used if you wish to have a child.

Application

Remifemin® FeuchtCreme is intended for use in the vagina and on the skin of the external intimate area. Remifemin® FeuchtCreme can be used with or without an applicator. Good hygiene in the intimate area and clean hands should be observed. In case of discomfort in the vaginal entrance and the external intimate area, the cream is applied and spread with a clean finger; a cream strand of about 0.5 cm is sufficient for this.

Applying a small amount of cream around the vaginal entrance can make it easier to insert the applicator. With the help of the applicator, Remifemin® FeuchtCreme can be inserted into the vagina. To do this, fill the applicator halfway (approx. 2.5 g cream), see also "Instructions for use". It should be applied once a day - preferably before going to bed (use a panty liner if necessary). After the symptoms have improved, Remifemin® FeuchtCreme can be used less frequently. Please take a break of at least two days after 30 consecutive days of use at the latest.

The cream can also be used immediately before sexual intercourse. It is not necessary to interrupt use during menstruation. During
pregnancy, Remifemin® FeuchtCreme can be used without an applicator (see instructions for use during pregnancy).
