Hearing protection SWIM adults

SANOHRA swim seals the ear canal waterproof and airtight. Many ENT and paediatricians therefore recommend SANOHRA swim.

SANOHRA swim protects the ear canal and eardrum from water penetration When swimming, bathing or showering, water can penetrate far into the ear canal up to the eardrum. This can cause a limitation in hearing.

The moisture in the ear canal causes the protective earwax to swell and thus, together with body heat, provides an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, germs and fungi. Inflammation of the ear canal and the eardrum (otitis externa) can be the result. The first sign of this is, for example, a feeling of pressure, pain and/or itching in the ear.

 

Application

Please insert SANOHRA swim earplugs as recommended before bathing, swimming or showering. Children should only insert the hearing protector into the ear under adult supervision and guidance.

When frolicking in the water and jumping into the water, any earplug can get lost! Therefore, this should absolutely not be done with children with tympanostomy tubes.

SANOHRA swim earplugs can be used again and again!

After use, carefully rinse off salt or chlorinated swimming pool water with clear water and allow to dry. The hearing protection also tolerates mild cleaning agents. Before using again, check whether the slats have remained undamaged (tears).

Note

Earplugs are generally not suitable for diving at greater depths. From a depth of one metre, the ever-increasing water pressure would press the hearing protection further and further into the ear canal.
