What should you pay attention to before taking it?
What you should be aware of before taking Sinupret intens?
Sinupret intens must not be taken,
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or any of the other ingredients mentioned in section 6. mentioned in section 6 of this medicine or
- if you have or have had a stomach and/or duodenal ulcer.
Warnings and Precautions
Please talk to your doctor if you have a nosebleed, fever, severe pain, purulent nasal discharge, blurred vision, asymmetry of the midface or eyes or numbness of the face.These symptoms or findings are generally considered to be serious indications for all forms of rhinosinusitis, which require specialist examination and urgent treatment.
Please talk to your doctor if your symptoms persist for more than 7-14 days, worsen or recur periodically.
Patients with known stomach inflammation and patients with a sensitive stomach should take special care when taking the product. It is best to take Sinupret intens after meals and with a glass of water.
Children and adolescents
The use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended as there is insufficient data available for this age group so far.
Taking Sinupret intens together with other medicinal products No systematic studies have been carried out to record interactions. An intensification or weakening of the effect of other medicines cannot therefore be ruled out.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using other medicines, have recently taken/used other medicines or intend to take/use other medicines.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
For safety reasons, the use of Sinupret intens should be avoided during pregnancy.
It is not known whether the active substances of Sinupret intens pass into breast milk. Sinupret intens should therefore not be used during breast-feeding.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Driving and ability to use machines
Sinupret intensive may cause dizziness in patients with the possible side effect "dizziness".The possible side effect "dizziness" (see section 4) may have a minor effect on the ability to drive or operate machinery.
Sinupret intens contains glucose and sucrose.
Please take this medicine only after consulting your doctor if you are known to have a sugar intolerance.
Diabetic advice:
One coated tablet contains an average of 0.3 g of chargeable carbohydrates.
How should the medicine be taken?
How to take Sinupret intens?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet
or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults take 1 coated tablet 3 times daily (maximum 3 coated tablets daily).
There are insufficient data for specific dosage recommendations for patients with impaired kidney/ liver function.
Use in children and adolescents
Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended, as insufficient data are available for this age group to date.
Type of application
Sinupret intens is taken 3 times a day (morning, noon and evening) without chewing with some liquid (e.g. a glass of water). If you have a sensitive stomach, it is best to take Sinupret intens after meals.
Duration of use
Duration of use, unless otherwise prescribed: 7-14 days. If there is no improvement by then or the symptoms persist, please consult a doctor.
If you have taken a larger amount of Sinupret intens than you should
If you have taken a larger amount than you should, please notify a doctor. The latter can decide on any necessary
measures. The side effects listed below (e.g. nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea) may occur more frequently.
If you forget to take Sinupret intens
If you accidentally take too little Sinupret intens or forget to take Sinupret intens, do not take twice the amount next time but continue to take Sinupret intens as prescribed by your doctor or as described in this leaflet.
If you stop taking Sinupret intens
Stopping Sinupret intens is usually safe.
If you have any further questions about taking this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not store above 30 °C.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
You must not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the outer carton and blister. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.

What Sinupret intens contains
- The active substance is a native dry extract (3-6:1) from gentian root (Gentiana lutea L.), cowslip blossom (Primula veris L.), dock herb (Rumex crispus L.), elderflower (Rumex crispus L.).), elderflower (Sambucus nigra L.), verbena (Verbena officinalis L.) (1:3:3:3:3),
1. Extractant: ethanol 51 % (m/m).
Each coated tablet contains 160.00 mg native dry extract.
- The other ingredients are: Sucrose, talc, calcium carbonate (E 170), microcrystalline cellulose, maltodextrin, cellulose powder, hypromellose, dextrin, spray-dried Arabic gum, highly dispersed hydrophobic silicon dioxide, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide (E 171), glucose syrup, magnesium stearate [vegetable], stearic acid, chlorophyll powder 25% (contains copper), chlorophyll powder 25% (contains copper).ure, chlorophyll powder 25 % (contains copper chlorophyll E 141), indigocarmine aluminium varnish (contains indigocarmine E 132 and aluminium hydroxide), carnauba wax, riboflavin (E 101).
