• If you are allergic to gentian root, cowslip flowers, garden sorrel, elderflower, verbena or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.

Warnings and precautions.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Sinupret forte Dragees.

Children:
Sinupret forte dragées are not suitable for use in children under 12 years of age.

Taking Sinupret forte Coated Tablets with other medicines.

Interactions with other medicinal products are not known so far.

Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other medicines.


Pregnancy and breastfeeding


Since there are insufficient data, the use during pregnancy and breastfeeding cannot be recommended.

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Driving ability and ability to operate machines

No studies have been carried out on the effect on the ability to drive or operate machinery.


Sinupret forte dragées contain glucose as syrup, lactose monohydrate, Sucrose and sorbitol.
Please therefore only take Sinupret forte Coated Tablets after consulting your doctor if you are known to suffer from a sugar intolerance.


Diabetic note:
1 Sinupret forte Coated Tablet contains approx. 0.015 chargeable bread units (BE).

How should the medicine be taken?

How should Sinupret forte Dragees be taken?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

Age single dose
Total daily dose


Adolescents 12 years and over
1 coated tablet 3 coated tablets<.br>and adults
(3 times 1 coated tablet)

Sinupret forte coated tablets are not suitable for use in children under 12 years of age.
Sinupret dragées are available for children from 6 to 11 years. Sinupret drops are available for children from 2 to 5 years.

For ingestion.
The coated tablets should be taken unchewed with some liquid (e.g. a glass of water).

If the symptoms worsen or last longer than 7 days, a doctor must be consulted.


If you have taken a larger amount of Sinupret forte Dragees than you should:

Overdoses with Sinupret forte Dragees have not been reported so far.

If you have forgotten to take Sinupret forte Dragees

Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take the previous dose.

If you stop taking Sinupret forte Dragees

Stopping Sinupret forte Dragees is usually safe.

What are the possible side effects?

What side effects may occur?

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
If you notice any side effects, contact your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects that are not mentioned in this leaflet.

The evaluation of side effects is based on the following frequency data:

Very common: more than 1 treated person in 10
Frequent: 1 to 10 treated persons in 100
Occasional: 1 to 10 treated persons in 1.000
Rarely: 1 to 10 treated out of 10,000
Very rarely: less than 1 treated in 10,000
Not known: Frequency cannot be estimated based on available data

Infrequently gastrointestinal complaints (including stomach pain, nausea) may occur.

Rarely hypersensitivity reactions of the skin (rash, redness, itching) as well as severe allergic reactions, shortness of breath may occur. Angioedema (sudden swelling of skin, mucous membrane and adjacent tissues), facial swelling).

If any of the above reactions occur, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

How to store Sinupret forte Dragees?

Do not store above 30°.

Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

You must not use this medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and the container (press-through pack) after use by: or use by:. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.

What Sinupret forte dragées contain

The active ingredients are:
Dencian root, cowslip flower with calyx, garden sorrel herb, elderflower, verbena.

1 sugar-coated tablet contains:

Dencian root (Gentianae radix)	12 mg
Keyflower Blossom with Calyx
(Primulae flos cum calycibus)	36 mg
Garden sorrel (Rumicis herba)	36 mg
Elderflower (Sambuci flos)	36 mg
Mercury (Verbenae herba)	36 mg

The other ingredients are:
Core:
Potato starch, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, gelatine, sorbitol, stearic acid, purified water.

Shell:
Calcium carbonate, glucose syrup, magnesium oxide, maize starch, basic butyl methacrylate copolymer, montanglycol wax, dextrin; castor oil, sucrose, shellac, talc.
Colourants in shell: riboflavin (E101), indigotin I (E 132), chlorophyll and chlorophyllin copper complex (E141), titanium dioxide (E 171).

Sinupret forte coated tablets are green, coated tablets (dragées) with a round, biconvex shape and a smooth surface.
