Application

1. WHAT ARE LEFAXIN DROPS AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?

Disturbed digestion, poor diet, flatulent foods and swallowing air often lead to flatulence. Particularly in babies and toddlers, hasty drinking often leads to flatulence. The gas accumulations are then present in the gastrointestinal tract as a sluggish, small-bubble foam. The active ingredient in Lefaxin drops causes the foam to break down. This allows the intestinal gases to drain away naturally. The active substance itself is not absorbed into the bloodstream but is excreted unchanged.

It is used for:
- excessive gas formation and gas accumulation in the gastrointestinal tract (meteorism) with complaints such as flatulence, bloating and a feeling of tension in the upper abdomen, which can be caused, for example, by swallowing air or by dietary errors.
- increased gas formation after operations and Roemheld's syndrome.
- Increased gas formation after operations and Roemheld syndrome.
- To prepare the gastrointestinal area for diagnostic examinations to reduce gas shadows and to improve the visualisation and/or to make the mucous membranes visible.
- In case of ingestion and poisoning by cleaning agents (e.g. soap, shampoo).
