miradent XYLITOL CHEWING GUM Cinnamon

With its cleansing and plaque-inhibiting effect, miradent xylitol chewing gum sustainably reduces the development of caries - especially after eating. Xylitol forms complexes of calcium and salivary proteins in the oral cavity, which lead to a remineralisation of the tooth structure. With sufficient xylitol intake, new plaque does not form on the teeth. This prevents the development of caries and loosens and removes existing plaque. Xylitol produces a cooling effect on the tongue, similar to the refreshing taste of menthol. Xylitol cannot be utilised by the bacteria in the oral cavity, so it does not have a caries-producing effect. These mechanisms can lead to a reduction in caries incidence of up to 100%. miradent xylitol chewing gum is 100% sweetened with xylitol and therefore has a positive effect by: -increasing saliva production (for dry mouth) -reducing plaque deposits -reducing plaque- and acid-forming bacteria -remineralising tooth enamel -reducing the "transfer of caries" from mother to child -Suitable for diabetics* *as part of a diet plan.
