Nasal Spray Plus

The nose is the most common infection route for viruses as a trigger for colds (flu-like infections). If the nasal mucosa is not sufficiently moistened, the filtering function of the nose is impaired.

If viruses have entered the nose, they can attach themselves to the mucous membrane, where they multiply and spread.

• COLDAMARIS plus forms a moisturising film on the nasal mucosa and thereby acts as a physical barrier against external influences.
• Thanks to the sustained moistening of the nasal mucosa, COLDAMARIS plus can prevent colds (flu-like infections).
• If you already have a cold, COLDAMARIS plus can shorten the duration of flu-like infections, relieve symptoms and reduce a flare-up of cold symptoms.
• COLDAMARIS plus contains 1.6 mg/ml carrageenan, sodium chloride (table salt) and water.

COLDAMARIS plus is particularly well tolerated, so it can also be used in children from 1 year of age. It contains NO preservative. If necessary, COLDAMARIS plus can be used over a longer period of time.

COLDAMARIS plus also proves itself during sports. The upper respiratory tract is especially stressed in the cold season and therefore particularly susceptible to the colonisation of viruses - COLDAMARIS plus counteracts this. COLDAMARIS plus has no influence on doping tests!

Application

Coldamaris Plus Nasal Spray is used at the first sign of a cold. This is done by spraying one puff into each nostril. The application is done 3 times a day. Treatment should be given as soon as possible after the first symptoms appear and should be continued until they subside. To moisten the nasal mucosa, several sprays are sprayed into the nose several times a day as needed. Coldamaris Plus Nasal Spray is particularly well tolerated and can therefore be used in children as young as 1 year.
The application can be done as often as desired and can be continued over a longer period of time without hesitation (there is no danger of overdosing

Remove the protective cap before use and pump a few times as needed until an even spray comes out. Now COLDAMARIS is ready for use. Hold the bottle as upright as possible when spraying. The intake pipe must always protrude into the liquid. If the functioning of the spray head is impaired, the pump mechanism should be operated several times in the vertical position until the spray mist comes out again. After use, close the spray bottle again with the protective cap

Note

The nasal mucosa has an important role in the immune defence, as it has to deal with a variety of inhaled particles (such as viruses, dust). It can only fulfil this function successfully if it is always covered with a film of liquid. If the nasal mucosa is not sufficiently moist, it cannot perform its physiological functions properly.

Colds (flu-like infections) are caused by viruses such as rhinoviruses and coronaviruses. The most common routes of infection for viruses as triggers of colds are the nose and throat. COLDAMARIS prophylactic Nasal Spray and COLDAMARIS plus< /em> Nasal Spray contain the active ingredient iota-carrageenan obtained from red algae./em> Nasal spray contain the active ingredient iota-carrageenan (Carragelose^®) obtained from red algae. This consists of carbohydrate chains, so-called polysaccharides.

• Carragelose^® forms a moisturising protective film on the mucous membrane of the nose and throat. This film acts as a physical barrier against external influences, such as the penetration of cold viruses

• Thanks to the viscosity-increasing properties of carragelose^® the natural moisture film is also stabilised and thus remains longer on the mucous membrane.
• The sustained humidification can thus have a preventive effect against the development of colds due to cold viruses.

Ingredients

1ml solution contains: 1.2mg iota-carrageenan and 0.4mg kappa-carrageenan, sodium chloride and purified water
