The ingredients of the monk's pepper extract influence the metabolism of certain hormones and messenger substances, which together lead to relief of the recurring monthly complaints such as mood swings, weight gain due to fluid retention in the tissues and painful tension and swelling in the breasts.
This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product registered exclusively on the basis of many years of use for the above-mentioned indication.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 months, consult your doctor.

What SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING DR. BÖHM MÖNCHSPFEFFER 4 mg - FILM TABLETS TAKE NOTE?
Dr. Böhm Mönchspfeffer 4 mg - Filmtabletten must not be taken,
- if you are allergic to monk's pepper or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6. other ingredients of this medicinal product.

Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Dr. Böhm Monk's Pepper
4mg Film-Coated Tablets.

Children and adolescents
For Dr. Böhm Mönchspfeffer 4 mg - Filmtabletten there is no indication for use in children under 12 years of age.
For use in female adolescents, regular menstruation should be present.
There is no indication for Dr Böhm Monk's Pepper 4 mg - Film-Coated Tablets in men.
If you are or have been under medical treatment for a tumour whose growth could be influenced by certain hormones (oestrogens), you should only take Dr. Böhm Mönchspfeffer 4mg- Filmtabletten after consulting your doctor.

Consult your doctor before taking Dr Böhm Monk's Pepper 4mg Film-Coated Tablets
if you are being treated at the same time with any of the following medicines: Dopamine agonists, dopamine antagonists, oestrogens or anti-oestrogens. (see also "Taking Dr Böhm Monk's Pepper 4mg Film-coated Tablets with other medicines").

If you have a history of pituitary gland disease, you should check with a doctor before taking this medicine.

Taking Dr. Böhm Mönchspfeffer 4 mg - Filmtabletten together with other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines.

If you are being treated with any of the following medicines, seek medical advice before taking Dr Böhm Monk's Pepper 4mg Film-Coated Tablets, as a mutual influence cannot be ruled out: Dopamine agonists, dopamine antagonists, oestrogens and anti-oestrogens (see also "Warnings and precautions").

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

There is no use for Dr. Böhm Monk's Pepper 4 mg - Film-Coated Tablets during pregnancy.

The use of Dr. Böhm Mönchspfeffer 4mg- Filmtabletten during breast-feeding is not recommended as milk formation could be affected.

Driving and ability to operate machinery

No studies have been conducted on the effects on driving and ability to operate machinery.

Dr. Böhm Mönchspfeffer 4 mg - Film-Coated Tablets contain sugar (lactose and glucose)
Please take this medicine only after consulting your doctor if you are known to suffer from a sugar intolerance.

How should the medicine be taken?

HOW ARE DR. BÖHM MÖNCHSPFEFFER 4 mg - FILM TABLETS To BE TAKEN?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:
Women and female adolescents from 12 years of age:
1 film-coated tablet daily

For Dr. Böhm Monk's Pepper 4 mg - Film-coated Tablets there is no indication for use in men.

Use in children
For Dr. Böhm Monk's Pepper 4 mg - Film-Coated Tablets there is no indication for use in children under 12 years of age.

Type of application
To be taken.
The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid (e.g. a glass of water), if possible always at the same time of day.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 months, contact your doctor.

No case of overdose has been reported.
If you stop taking Dr. Böhm Monk's Pepper 4 mg - Film-Coated Tablets
forgot to take,
Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take it before.

What Dr. Böhm Monk's Pepper 4 mg - Film-Coated Tablets contain

The active substance is:
Dry extract of monk's pepper fruit (Agni casti fructus)

1 film-coated tablet contains:
4 mg dry extract of monk's pepper fruit,
(drug-extract ratio 7-13:1), extraction agent: ethanol 60% (m/m)

The other ingredients are:
Tablet core: glucose syrup, maize starch, magnesium stearate, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A), lactose monohydrate.
Tablet coating: hypromellose, macrogol 4000, lactose monohydrate, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron(III) oxide (E 172).

Dr. Böhm Mönchspfeffer 4 mg - Film-Coated Tablets are salmon-pink, round tablets with a notch on one side that is not for dividing.
They are available in aluminium/PVC blister packs of 30 or 60.Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
