nasic - nasal spray for children consult a doctor.
As with all medicines, caution is advised in children and elderly patients.
Children
This medicinal product must not be given to children under 6 years of age without a doctor's prescription.
Long-term use and overdose, especially in children, should be avoided. Use in children aged 2-6 years and at higher doses should only be done under medical supervision.
Use of nasic - Nasal Spray for Children with other medicinesInform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or do not intend to take/use any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
When nasic - nasal spray for children is used at the same time as certain mood-lifting medicines, it is not recommended.
Drugs (MAO inhibitors of the tranylcypromine type or tricyclic antidepressants) may cause an increase in blood pressure due to effects on heart and circulatory function.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Children aged 2 to 6 years:
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, one spray of nasic - nasal spray for children aged 2 to 6 years is placed in each nostril as required up to 3 times a day with the bottle held vertically, inhaling lightly through the nose during the spraying process.
The dosage depends on the individual sensitivity and the effect.
The use in children from 2-6 years is only on medical prescription.
Children aged 6 to 14 years:
In children aged 6 to 14 years, one to two sprays of nasic - nasal spray for children are inserted into each nostril as required up to 3 times a day.
In children up to 14 years of age, the application must be supervised by parents or adults. by parents or adults.

Duration of use
Do not use nasic - Nasal Spray for Children for longer than 7 days without medical or dental advice.
The doctor should always be consulted about the duration of use in children. Continuous use of nasic - Nasal Spray for Children can lead to chronic swelling and eventually to atrophy of the nasal mucosa.

If you have used a larger amount of nasic - Nasal Spray for Children than you shouldIf you have taken an overdose or accidental ingestion of nasal spray for children, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.If you have used a larger amount of nasic - Nasal Spray for Children than you should have as a result of an overdose or accidental oral intake, the following effects may occur, especially in children:
dilation of the pupils (mydriasis), nausea, vomiting, blue colouring of the lips (cyanosis), fever, convulsions, cardiac and circulatory disturbances (tachycardia).(tachycardia, cardiac arrhythmia, circulatory collapse, cardiac arrest, hypertension), pulmonary dysfunction (pulmonary oedema, respiratory disorders), mental disorders. In addition, drowsiness, lowering of body temperature and coma may occur.
If such signs occur, consult a doctor immediately.
Can a habituation effect occur with nasic - nasal spray for children?
In the case of a long-lasting cold, long-term uninterrupted use should be avoided.
Use too frequently or for too long can increase the risk of drying out of the nasal mucosa, and it can also lead to a reduction in effect (habituation effect) or, after sudden discontinuation, to a worsening of the symptoms.

Do not use twice the amount the next time, but continue to use as described in the dosage instructions.

What nasic - nasal spray for children contains
- The active ingredients are: Xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol 10 g solution contains 5 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride and 500 mg dexpanthenol.
One spray puff of 0.1 ml solution (equivalent to 0.10 g) contains 0.05 mg
xylometazoline hydrochloride and 5.0 mg dexpanthenol. - The other ingredients are: 0.02 mg benzalkonium chloride per spray, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate
(Ph. Eur.), purified water.
