Children and adolescents
Special care is needed when taking Hova Film-coated Tablets
- in children between 6 and 12 years of age. As nervousness and sleep problems in children can have a wide variety of causes, Hova film-coated tablets should only be used in children between 6 and 12 years of age on the advice of a doctor.
- Hova film-coated tablets are not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Taking Hova Film-Coated Tablets with other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or do not intend to take/use any other medicines.

The effect of Hova Film-Coated Tablets may be increased by taking other sedatives or sleeping pills at the same time.

Taking Hova Film-Coated Tablets with food, drink and alcohol
The effect of Hova Film-Coated Tablets is increased by taking alcohol at the same time.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist
for advice before taking this medicine.

No harmful effects during pregnancy and breast-feeding have been reported so far. There are no studies on the safety of use during pregnancy and lactation. As a precaution, Hova Film-Coated Tablets should not be taken during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Driving and ability to operate machinery
Hova Film-Coated Tablets may affect the ability to drive and operate machinery. When taking higher doses that induce sleepiness

therefore, driving vehicles or operating machinery should be avoided.

Hova Film-Coated Tablets contain glucose and lactose
Please take this medicine only after consulting your doctor if you are known to have a sugar intolerance.

How should the medicine be taken?

How to take Hova Film-coated Tablets?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, follow the dosage given exactly.

The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with some liquid. A natural valerian smell is typical of this herbal medicine.

For nervous sleep disorders:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 2 film-coated tablets half an hour before bedtime.Children aged 6-12 years (if recommended by a doctor): 1 film-coated tablet half an hour before bedtime.

For restlessness, nervousness and anxiety:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: 1 film-coated tablet 1-3 times a day.
Children aged 6-12 (if recommended by a doctor): 1 film-coated tablet 1-2 times a day.

There is insufficient experience for use in children under 6 years of age.

Duration of use:
Hova film-coated tablets work best when used for 2 to 4 weeks. When used as directed, there is no risk of habituation and no impairment of performance the next day. If the symptoms persist or if the expected
success from the application does not occur, medical advice is required as soon as possible.

If you have taken a larger amount of Hova Film-coated Tablets than you should
If you take a lot of Hova Film-coated Tablets at the same time, you should call a doctor immediately, this applies especially to children.

If you forget to take Hova Film-Coated Tablets
Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take it before.

What Hova film-coated tablets contain
- The active ingredients are: 200.2 mg dry extract of Valerinae radix
(valerian root extract 4 - 7 : 1), extraction agent: ethanol 70 % v/v, 45.5 mg dry extract of Lupuli flos (hop cone extract 4 - 8 : 1), extraction agent: methanol 40 % v/v.
- The other ingredients are: Glucose syrup (dried), maltodextrin, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, lactose, methylhydroxypropylcellulose, titanium dioxide E 171, polyethylene glycol 4000, quinoline yellow E 104 varnish with aluminium hydroxide, indigotine E 132 varnish with aluminium hydroxide, polyethylene glycol 6000.
