Nasivin Classic is a medicine for the topical treatment of the common cold.
Application
What is Nasivin and what is it used for?
Nasivin is a medicine for the topical treatment of the common cold. By dripping the solution into both nostrils, the inflamed nasal mucosa swells and the excessive secretion is reduced. This enables free breathing through the nose. At the same time, the ear trumpets are kept clear and the throat mucosa is decongested.
In addition, the active ingredient has been shown to have antiviral, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
The effect of Nasivin sets in within a few seconds (mean onset of action of 25 seconds) and lasts for up to 12 hours.
It has been shown that treatment with Nasivin leads to a reduction in the duration of the common cold from an average of 6 days to 4 days compared to the use of a physiological saline solution.
Nasivin is used
- for the treatment of acute rhinitis (rhinitis acuta), allergic rhinitis (rhinitis allergica) and intermittent runny nose (rhinitis vasomotorica).
- To facilitate the drainage of secretions in inflammations of the paranasal sinuses and in tubal catarrh in conjunction with rhinitis.
- For diagnostic swelling of the mucous membranes.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.
