What should you know before taking BRONCHOSTOP?em>®duo Cough Lozenges?

BRONCHOSTOP.®duo cough lozenges. must not be taken
if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to thyme or marshmallow root or any other member of the mint family or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6. other ingredients of this medicinal product.

Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking BRONCHOSTOP® duo Cough Lozenges. In case of fever, shortness of breath or purulent sputum, consult a doctor

Children
In principle, medical advice should be sought for children under 4 years of age. Use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended as there is insufficient data.
Use in children between 2 and 4 years of age is not recommended because of the risk of accidentally swallowing the whole lozenge.

Taking BRONCHOSTOP.strong>®duo cough lozenges. with other medicines Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other medicines.
No interactions with other medicines are known.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist
for advice before taking this medicine.

Due to insufficient data, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Driving and ability to operate machinery
No studies have been conducted on the effects on driving and ability to operate machinery.

BRONCHOSTOP® duo cough lozengescontain maltitol and sorbitol<./strong>
Please only take BRONCHOSTOP®duo Cough Drops after consulting your doctor if you are known to have a sugar intolerance.

Note for diabetics
1 lozenge corresponds to approx. 0.1 BE. This should be taken into account for patients with diabetes mellitus.

How should the medicine be taken?

How are BRONCHOSTOP?® duo cough drops take?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Dosage:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over:
2 lozenges every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times daily, total daily dose up to 12 lozenges).

Children from 4 to 12 years:
1 lozenge every 3 to 4 hours (4 to 6 times daily, total daily dose up to 6 lozenges).

Children under 4 years of age:
Use in children under 4 years of age is not recommended (see section 2).

Type of application:
For ingestion (dissolve in the mouth by sucking).

Duration of use:
If you do not feel better or even worse after 5 days, consult your doctor.

If you take a large amount of BRONCHOSTOP.®duo Cough Lozenges.than you should
If you have considerably overdosed on this medicine, side effects known to be side effects may be increased. In this case, please inform your doctor. The latter can decide on any measures that may be necessary.

If you forget to take BRONCHOSTOP®.duo Cough Lozengesyou have forgotten
Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take it before.

If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

What are the possible side effects?

Do not store above 30°C.

Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

You must not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the blister and on the outer carton after "Use by". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.

Do not dispose of medicines in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. In doing so, they contribute to the protection of the environment.

What BRONCHOSTOP contains.®duo cough lozengescontain
- The active ingredients are: Thyme dry extract, marshmallow root dry extract
1 lozenge contains:
51.1 mg thyme dry extract (drug-extract ratio 7-13 : 1, extractant water) and 4.5 mg marshmallow root dry extract (drug-extract ratio, 7-9 : 1, extractant water)
- The other ingredients are:
Arabic gum (gum arabic), sorbitol (E 420), maltitol (E 965), maltodextrin, citric acid anhydrous, saccharin sodium, chokeberry flavouring, wild berry flavouring, paraffin wax thin, bleached wax, purified water.
