How should the medicine be taken?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:

Adults and adolescents over 12 years:
2 dragées ½ to 1 hour before bedtime.
If necessary, you can take an additional 2 coated tablets earlier in the evening.

Type of application
To be taken by mouth.
The coated tablets should be taken unchewed and with sufficient liquid.

Duration of use
In principle, the duration of use is not limited. If you do not feel better or even worse after 14 days, contact your doctor.

Use in children
As there is insufficient data, use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended.
If you have taken a larger quantity of Dr. Böhm Ein- und Durchschlaf Dragees than you should
Baldrian root caused the following symptoms in a dosage of approx. 20 g (equivalent to approx. 35 dragees): Fatigue, abdominal cramps, chest tightness, drowsiness, trembling of the hands and dilatation of the pupils. These had subsided again within 24 hours. If symptoms occur, contact your doctor.

If you forget to take Dr. Böhm Ein- und Durchschlaf Dragees
Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take it before.

No special storage conditions are required for this medicinal product.

Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

You must not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the outer carton after EXP or on the blister pack after EXP.

The medicinal product must not be disposed of in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you no longer need it. This measure helps to protect the environment.

1 sugar-coated tablet contains:
125 mg dry extract of valerian root (Valerianae radix)
(drug extract ratio 3-6:1, extractant ethanol 70 %, V/V)
80 mg dry extract of passion flower herb (Passiflorae herba)
(drug extract ratio 5-7:1, extraction agent ethanol 50 %, V/V)
112.5 mg dry extract of lemon balm leaves (Melissae folium)
(drug extract ratio 4-6:1, extraction agent methanol 30 %, V/V)

The other ingredients are: Arabic gum, bleached wax, calcium carbonate E 170, croscarmellose sodium, carnauba wax, cellulose powder, glucose syrup (dry matter), maltodextrin, shellac (modified), silicon dioxide (anhydrous), stearic acid (of vegetable origin), sucrose, talc, tragacanth, titanium dioxide E 171, iron oxide yellow E172.
