Crataegutt 450 mg must not be taken
- if you are allergic to hawthorn or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.
Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Crataegutt 450 mg.
If you experience pain in the heart area that may radiate to the arms, upper abdomen or neck area, or if you have difficulty breathing or if water accumulates in the legs, consult a doctor immediately.
Children and adolescents
Crataegutt 450 mg is not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Taking Crataegutt 450 mg with other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or do not intend to take/use any other medicines.
No interactions are known.
Taking Crataegutt 450 mg with food and drink
Taking food and drink does not affect the effectiveness of the medicine.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist
for advice before taking this medicine.
As there are insufficient data, its use during pregnancy and breast-feeding cannot be recommended.
Trafficability and ability to operate machinery
No studies have been conducted on the effects on trafficability and ability to operate machinery.
Crataegutt 450 mg has no or negligible effect on the ability to drive and use machines.
How should the medicine be taken?
How to take Crataegutt 450 mg?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Adults:
1 film-coated tablet
Use in children and adolescents
Crataegutt 450 mg is not intended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
To take.
Take the film-coated tablet unchewed with plenty of liquid (preferably a glass of drinking water). It can be taken independently of meals.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 weeks, contact your doctor.
If you have taken a larger amount of Crataegutt 450 mg than you shouldSymptoms of overdose have not been reported so far. In case of extreme overdose, you should consult a doctor.
If you forget to take Crataegutt 450 mg
Do not take double the amount if you have forgotten to take it before.
If you stop taking Crataegutt 450 mg
your symptoms may return.

What Crataegutt 450 mg contains
The active substance is a dry extract of hawthorn.
1 film-coated tablet contains:
450 mg dry extract of hawthorn leaves with flowers, drug extract ratio 4-7:1 (extraction agent: ethanol 45 vol.%)
The other ingredients are: Maltodextrin, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, hydrogenated castor oil, carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A), stearic acid 50, hypromellose, talc, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide (E171), ferric oxide (E172), purified water.
