GRANUFINK® Prosta plus Sabal is a herbal medicinal product and contains pumpkin seeds,pumpkin seed oil and a dry extract of saw palmetto fruit.

Applications:

Traditional herbal medicinal product for use in functional disorders of the urinary tract in men (e.g. frequent urination).

The use of this traditional herbal medicinal product in the above-mentioned indications is based exclusively on many years of use.

If you do not feel better or even worse after 14 days, consult your doctor.

What is GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal and what is it used for?

GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal is a herbal medicinal product and contains pumpkin seeds, pumpkin seed oil and a dry extract of saw palmetto fruit.

Applications:

Traditional herbal medicinal product for use in functional disorders of the urinary tract in men (e.g. frequent urination).For example, frequent urge to urinate, weakening of the urinary stream or dribbling of the urine).
The presence of a serious underlying disease as the cause of the complaints must be excluded.

This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product registered exclusively on the basis of long-standing use for the above-mentioned indications.

This medicinal product is used in adults aged 18 years and over.

What should you pay attention to before taking it?

What should you bear in mind before taking GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal ?

GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal must not be used,
.must not be used

- if you are allergic to pumpkin seeds, pumpkin-like plants, such as watermelon, zucchini, or other pumpkins. e.g. watermelon, courgette etc., saw palmetto fruit or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.

Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal.
-You must see your doctor immediately if any of the following occur while using this product:
- you see blood in your urine,
- you develop a fever,
- you experience cramping or pain when urinating,
- you experience urinary retention.

Individual cases of liver dysfunction have been described after long-term use or intake of high doses of preparations containing saw palmetto fruit extracts.

Children and adolescents
The use of this medicinal product in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended due to lack of sufficient experience.

Taking GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal with other medicines
.Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other medicines.
Some suspected cases of interaction with warfarin have been reported. Increased INR values have been described.

Pregnancy and lactation
GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal is not indicated for use in women, therefore no information.

Driving ability and ability to operate machines
No adverse effects on driving ability and ability to operate machines are known with GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal.

GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal contains lactose (milk sugar).
Please only take GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal after consulting your doctor if you are known to suffer from a sugar intolerance.

How should the medicine be taken?

How to take GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal ?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is
adults aged 18 years and over:
3 times daily 1 hard capsule.

Use in children and adolescents
The use of GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Type and duration of use:
To take. GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal should be taken with sufficient liquid, preferably before meals.
In principle, the duration of use is not limited.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 14 days, contact your doctor.If you have taken a larger amount of GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal .than you should, the side effects listed in section 4 may be more common.
If you experience any discomfort, contact a doctor.

If you forget to take GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal
Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take it before, but continue to take it as stated in this leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor.

If you have any further questions about taking this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

No special storage conditions are required for this medicinal product.

Keep this medicinal product out of the reach of children.
You must not use this medicinal product after the expiry date which is stated on the outer carton and blister after "Use by"
or "Use by:". The expiry date refers
to the last day of the month indicated.

Do not dispose of medicines in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how
to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. They thus contribute to the protection of the
environment.

.What GRANUFINK Prosta plus Sabal contains

The active ingredients are:
Pumpkin seed 400 mg
Pumpkin seed oil 340 mg
Dry extract of saw palmetto fruit (drug extract ratio (DEV) 7-13 : 1,
extractant ethanol 90 % (m/m)) 75 mg

The other ingredients are: highly dispersed silicon dioxide, lactose monohydrate, sodium dodecyl sulphate, gelatine, purified water, iron oxide black, red and yellow (E 172).
