What is Osa Teething Aid and what is it used for?
Osa Zahnungshilfe is a traditional herbal medicinal product for use in teething problems in infants from the age of 3 months to 4 years.
The use of this traditional herbal medicinal product in the above-mentioned area of application is based exclusively on many years of use.
If your child's symptoms do not improve or even get worse after 2 weeks, consult your doctor.
How is it applied?

This medicinal product is used in children from 3 months to 3 years of age.
This medicinal product is a traditional herbal medicinal product registered exclusively on the basis of long-standing use for the above-mentioned indications.
If your child does not feel better or even worse after 14 days, consult your doctor.
What should you pay attention to before taking it?
What should you bear in mind before using Osa Teething Aid?
Osa Teething Aid must not be used,
- if your child is allergic (hypersensitive) to camomile or cloves or any of the other ingredients of this medicine mentioned in section 6. other ingredients of this medicine mentioned in section 6.
- if your child is allergic to daisies such as arnica, calendula or yarrow.
Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your pharmacist before using Osa Teething Aid.
If symptoms get worse or if there is also fever or diarrhoea, seek medical advice.
Do not put the gel in the eyes.
Children
Use in children under 3 months of age is not recommended due to lack of data.
Use of Osa Teething Aid with other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if your child is taking/using, has recently taken/used or is likely to take/use any other medicines.
No interactions are known.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Not applicable due to use in children.
Driving and ability to operate machinery
No studies have been conducted on the effects on driving and ability to operate machinery.
Osa Teething Aid contains benzoic acid
Benzoic acid may cause mild irritation to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
How should the medicine be taken?
How to use Osa Teething Aid?
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is:
Children from 3 to 23 months:
Apply 1 to 2 cm of gel at the first signs of teething and massage in gently.
Children from 2 to 3 years:
If necessary, the application (2 to 3 cm gel) can be continued until the passage of all milk teeth as well as the molars.
Children over 4 years
A further application is usually not necessary at this age, as teething is normally already complete.
Type of application
For use in the oral cavity (gums).
The gel is applied to the affected area of the gums with the finger and lightly massaged in.
Duration of application
Repeat application after half an hour if symptoms persist. The treatment can be repeated several times (up to 6 times) within 24 hours, especially after meals and before bedtime.

Use in children
Use in children under 3 months of age is not recommended due to lack of data.
If you have used a larger amount of Osa Teething Aid than you shouldThere are no known cases of overdose.
If you forget to use Osa Teething Aid
Do not use twice the amount if you have forgotten to use it before.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
What are the possible side effects?
How should Osa Teething Aid be stored?
Do not store above 25°C.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
You must not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and container after "EXP". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.
Shelf life after first opening: 8 weeks
Do not dispose of this medicinal product in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. In doing so, they contribute to the protection of the environment.

How should Osa Teething Aid be stored?
Do not store above 25°C.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.

What Osa Teething Aid contains
The active ingredients are: Camomile essential oil and Clove essential oil
100 g contain: 0.4 g Camomile essential oil and 0.15 g Clove essential oil.
The other ingredients are: Benzoic acid, xylitol, peppermint essential oil, hydroxyethylcellulose, carmellose sodium, polysorbate 20, glycerol, saccharin sodium, purified water
