What is Otodolor and what is it used for?
Otodolor is a homeopathic combination medicine. These medicines are composed of various individual homeopathic remedies whose drug pictures complement each other. Homeopathy is understood as a regulatory therapy for acute and chronic diseases.
Application areas:
The application areas are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. What SHOULD YOU TAKE INTO ACCOUNT BEFORE USING Otodolor?
Otodolor must not be used
- if you are allergic to Capsicum annuum, Matricaria recutita, Pulsatilla pratensis, Acidum silicicum, Acidum boricum or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.
- in the event of an ear drum injury.
Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Otodolor.
Any ear condition must be examined by a doctor as soon as possible.Otodolor must not be used for more than 14 days.
When homeopathic medicines are used, the existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial reaction). Such reactions are mostly harmless. If the symptoms do not improve, the medicine should be discontinued. After the initial reaction has subsided, the medicine can be used again. If the symptoms worsen again, the remedy should be discontinued.
Any prolonged treatment with a homeopathic remedy should be controlled by a doctor experienced in homeopathy, as unwanted drug test symptoms (new symptoms) may occur if not indicated.
Children:
The use of Otodolor in children under 6 years of age is not recommended because insufficient data are available.
Use of Otodolor with other medicines
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or do not intend to take/use any other medicines.
No interactions with other medicines have been reported so far.
Use Otodolor with food and drink

The recommended dose is
Adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age:
Drop approx. 3 - 5 drops into the ear every 2 to 4 hours.
If the symptoms improve, reduce the frequency of use.
Use in children under 6 years of age:
The use of Otodolor in children under 6 years of age is not recommended as insufficient data are available.
For dropping into the ear
Otodolor must not be used for longer than 14 days.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.
If you have used a larger amount of Otodolor than you should,
No cases of overdose have been reported.
If you forget to use Otodolor.
Do not use twice the amount if you have forgotten to use it before.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
What are the possible side effects?

After first use, do not store above 25°C.
Store in the original container.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
You must not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the outer carton and the label after "Use by:". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.
The contents of the dropper container may only be used up to 4 weeks after the first withdrawal.
Do not dispose of this medicine in waste water or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. In doing so, they contribute to the protection of the environment.

Do not store above 25°C.

- The other ingredients are: Glycerol 85%, ethanol
(alcohol content 35 wt.%), lactose monohydrate (in traces)
1 g = 1.05 ml = 40 drops
