Aloe vera grows in tropical and subtropical regions. It is said to strengthen the immune system and detoxify the body. It can be eaten when peeled or pressed whole into a juice or made into a smoothie. It is also suitable for external use, for example when made into a gel. This is said to have anti-inflammatory, wound-healing and immune-stimulating properties.
Storage: Store the aloe vera leaf in a cool and dry place, then you will achieve a shelf life of approx. 10 weeks. When you cut the leaf, keep it in the fridge in the front area and put a piece of kitchen roll over the cut. The leaf now lasts about 10 days. Aloe vera must not freeze!
Our tip: Drink 2-3 tablespoons of fresh aloe vera gel mixed with fruit juice every day.
Instructions for making aloe vera fresh leaf gel:
Cut off a piece (approx. 5-7 cm) of the fresh aloe vera leaf and remove the skin.
a) Leaf bark
b) Yellow juice (aloin)
c) Aloe Vera Gel Tongue
Remove the rind from the gel and remove the yellow liquid with a napkin. Now blend the gel with a hand blender until frothy.
Use this extracted aloe vera gel to apply cream to your skin every day. You can apply cream to problem areas several times a day.
Attention should be paid to sterile and clean work and clean the skin with lukewarm water before application. The gel must be mixed fresh daily, storing it will reduce the active ingredients and ultimately the result.
