Full enjoyment with a clear conscience - we have decided that in future all day-old chicks will survive in organic production. Since 2016, all organic roosters have therefore been raised in a species-appropriate manner. While the laying hen lays eggs, the brother cock grows up under the best conditions in a healthy and species-appropriate way to produce high-quality food.
Preparation ideas:
BIO-HEAR IN THE PIPE
Preheat the oven to 200°C with a roasting pan (put some water or geflügelfond in it). Season the rooster and place it breast side down in the roasting pan.
Cook at 150°C for about 1 hour, adding a little geflügelfond or water occasionally.
Cut a clove of garlic, carrot, pepper and onion each. Turn the rooster, add the vegetables and cook for another 45 minutes. Occasionally baste with its own juices.
SUPPLE FROM THE ORGANIC CHICKEN
Place the whole tap in a pot and add enough water to cover it lightly. Bring to the boil with a little salt and a bay leaf and then simmer at a low temperature for about 1.5 to 2 hours.
As soon as the meat separates easily from the bones, the rooster is cooked.
Add 2 onions and soup vegetables and cook for another 30 minutes and enjoy the delicious soup.
