Violife Greek White Block 200g
Greek pleasure the vegan way: Violife Greek White is the perfect alternative to feta cheese. Thanks to its creamy consistency and spicy taste, this Greek delicacy is convincing in many variations - it's entirely up to you. The plant-based cheese alternative is free from lactose, gluten, nuts, soy and preservatives.
Try Violife Greek White in a classic Greek salad with olives and tomatoes or simply straight from the packet. Also melted as a filling for giant mushrooms or on pizza, our Greek White is a real treat.
RECIPE IDEA FOR A TABOULEH WITH VIOLIFE GREEK WHITE (serves 4)
● 1 packet Violife Greek White, diced ● 1 cucumber, diced ● 1 cup bulgur ● 200gr tomatoes, seeded and diced ● 2 large spring onions, chopped ● 2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped ● 60ml olive oil2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped ● 60ml olive oil ● 60ml fresh lemon juice ● 1 handful chopped fresh parsley ● 1 handful chopped coriander ● Salt & pepper to taste
.Preparation:
Whisk the oil and lemon juice in a small bowl and set aside.
Put the bulgur in a large bowl. Mix in 1 cup of boiling water. Leave to soak for 15 minutes until the bulgur is soft and has absorbed the water. Mix in the tomatoes, cucumber, parsley, coriander, spring onions and mint. Add the olive oil and fold in. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Leave to stand for at least 30 minutes to blend the flavours. Season with Violife Greek White in cubes and parsley.
