Red wine 14% vol.

Dense violet with ruby rims, total fruitiness and scent of caramel on the nose, complex and multilayered on the palate, powerful tannin with toasty oak flair.

Father Johann Scheiblhofer already left his mark on the local red wine scene; and son Erich is following suit: the young winemaker has been running the winery since 1999 - already the first vintage of 2000 of his Zweigelt Prädium was an immediate state and national winner. No question, the conditions for viticulture here, around the Burgenland municipality of Andau, are perfect with excellent soils as well as the most hours of sunshine and highest temperature peaks in all of Austria.
