Blaufränkisch from the most calcareous and chalky sections, a 1:1 reflection of the unique terroir as it could hardly be clearer from red grapes. Like an arrow-straight beam with lots of floral spice and the grace of a rosé-coloured white wine. 
This is the concept that he wants to deepen in the future. The result: a wine, straightforward with lots of finesse and grandeur.

About the producer:

Christian Tschida Winery is located in Illmitz on Lake Neusiedl in Burgenland and is known for its uncompromising, natural philosophy. Christian Tschida cultivates his vineyards biodynamically and lets the vines grow without synthetic additives and with minimal intervention. The wines are mostly fermented spontaneously and bottled without filtration or fining, which gives them a special depth and naturalness. Tschida's wines are unmistakable and show a distinctive signature: they are complex, often slightly cloudy, and reflect the character of Burgenland. He is particularly known for wines such as "Himmel auf Erden," which embody the terroir and his philosophy in a fascinating way.
