Antimetil® helps with any kind of nausea. It increases digestive secretions and thus improves digestion (e.g. with too heavy food), stimulates gastric emptying and relieves stomach cramps. Reduces nausea/vomiting and prevents travel sickness.
Application
- Children 3-5 years: 1 x 1 tablet/day (max. 2 x 1 tablet/day)
- Children 6-11 years: 1 x 1 tablet/day (max. 4 x 1 tablet/day)
- Adults and children from 12 years: 1 x 2 tablets/day (max. 4 x 2 tablets/day)
- Pregnant women: 1 x 1 tablet in the morning and/or at noon (max. 2 x 1 tablet/day)
Take the tablets with a glass of water. When travelling, approximately 30 minutes before the start of the journey.
How is it used?
What is Zintona and what is it used for?
Zintona is a herbal medicine against nausea.
Areas of application: Herbal medicine for the prevention of travel sickness (kinesis) such as dizziness, nausea and vomiting.
Symptomatic treatment of mild forms of vomiting and nausea in the
Early pregnancy (up to the 16th week of pregnancy).
This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children from 6 years of age.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 2-3 days, contact your doctor.

- small tablets that are easy to take
- Not in case of hypersensitivity to ginger or any of the other ingredients of Antimetil®.
- Do not take in case of diseases of the bile.
Ingredients
1 tablet Antimetil® contains 50 mg standardized ginger extract, which corresponds to 500 mg ginger powder.

What should you consider before taking Zintona?
Zintona must not be taken,
- If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to ginger or any of the ingredients listed in section 6 of this medicine.
Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Zintona,
if you suffer from gallstones. In this case, Zintona may only be taken after consulting a doctor.
Children
As there is insufficient data, use in children under 6 years of age cannot be recommended.
When taking Zintona with other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using, have recently taken/used or intend to take/use any other medicines.
Caution is advised if you are taking blood-thinning medicines at the same time. Interactions with other medicines are not known.
When taking Zintona with food and alcohol
Interactions with food or alcohol are not known.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you suspect you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Use in early pregnancy up to the 16th week of pregnancy is possible.
Use during breast-feeding cannot be recommended as there is insufficient data.
Driving and using machines
No studies on the effects on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed.
How should the medicine be taken?
How to take Zintona?
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure
The recommended dose is:
Motion sickness:
For adults and children over 6 years: Take 2 capsules unchewed with liquid ½ hour before the start of the journey, then 2 capsules every 4 hours. Maximum daily dose: 6 capsules
Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy:
Take 2 capsules unchewed with liquid in the morning, if symptoms recur, another 2 capsules can be taken.
Maximum daily dose: 4 capsules

As there is insufficient data, use in children under 6 years of age cannot be
recommended.
If you have taken more Zintona than you should
No cases of overdose have been reported. The side effects listed below may be more pronounced.
If you forget to take Zintona
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If you have any further questions about taking this medicine, ask your doctor or
pharmacist.

Store in the original package to protect the contents from light.
Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton and on the blister pack after
“use by”. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
Do not use this medicine if you notice the following: unusual
discoloration of the capsules.
Do not dispose of medicines in wastewater. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine when you stop using it. You help to protect the environment.
